ISCTE Business School is the only Portuguese Business School accepted at the European Doctoral Programmes Association in Management and Business Administration (EDAMBA), joining ESADE, HEC, INSEAD and London Business Schooldue to its high level of academic and scientific quality of the IBS programmes.

IBS – ISCTE Business School is the only Portuguese business school accepted at The European Academy of Business in Society (EABIS), which is a unique alliance of top international business schools, academic institutions and companies that are, with the support of the European Commission, committed to integrating business in society issues into the heart of business theory and practice in Europe.

The School has a strong scientific qualification of its faculty, with the scientific publication track record increasing significantly. The School has one of the largest set of research databases in Europe, like Wharton Research Data Services (WRDS), ABI/INFORM Global, JSTOR, ProQuest, Bloomberg, Reuters, Datastream, Worldscope, Compustat, and CRSP, among others.

Finally, in what concerns the international arena, ISCTE Business School has programmes in Asia, Africa and Latin America. It also has currently the largest exchange student programme in Portugal. The faculty members have a large exposure to international contexts and experiences.
