The newly updated Full-Time MBA program at the D'Amore-McKim School of Business combines the experiential heritage of Northeastern University with greater flexibility and interdisciplinary education opportunities. A reduced core allows for more options for students to learn things they're interested in both inside and outside their concentrations. They begin elective coursework in the spring of their first year, and they have several credits of free electives that include experience-driven learning. The second year begins with our signature corporate residency program where students work as a paid employee at a leading business in their field of interest over the course of 3-months, 6-months, or up to 12 months. Six elective credits will be from outside of the business school to help expand their interdisciplinary skills that are highly desirable to employers. There are also more concentrations options, which currently include Analytics, Corporate Innovation & Venturing, Entrepreneurship, Finance (Corporate Finance or Investments), Healthcare Management, International Business, Leading People & Organizations, Marketing, and Supply Chain Management.

As part of a new initiative of the Full-Time MBA program, MBA x Computer Science is D’Amore-McKim’s newest innovative, interdisciplinary program within the business school. Designed to give students a comprehensive framework in business and leadership combined with technical knowledge and skills in computer science, this new program meets the market demand head on in a time of rapid and global technological advancement. Students can choose one business concentration and one concentration offered through the Khoury College of Computer Sciences: Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Data Science and Software Development. While no prior computer science, computer engineering, or related technical background is required, students without a related undergraduate degree will need to complete a series of foundational courses, co-created by D’Amore-McKim and Khoury College, prior to full-time enrollment.
