Cristina De Maturana Molina describes her MBA experience at the IAE Business School.

1. What were you doing before your MBA?

I was working at a Shipyard (Technical Office Department).

2. What were your main reasons for deciding to attend business school?

- Improve my capacities and abilities in the business environment and to develop managing skills.
- Widen the field in which I would be able to develop my career.

3. What research did you undertake in selecting your school?

- internet rankings
- People from other schools (IESE, IE, and STANFORD)

4. What were the main criteria in your selection?

I focused on the good quality of the teaching methods of the Business school.      

5. Why did you decide to study either in your own country or overseas?

I decided to study overseas to implement my MBA experience with the possibility of learning from a different culture.      

6. How well do your think the MBA is regarded in your home country?

I think it is very well considered in Spain.      

7. Are there any well-known and/or successful entrepreneurs that are alumni of your school?

Yes, there are.  For example, Mr. Magistocchi (Wine Industry)     

8. What do you expect to do on graduation and where do you expect to be based?

I expect to be successful at the task of finding an appropriate job for me.
Firstly, I would like to find a job in Argentina and stay here for a period of time, in order to get involved in the country, not only from the point of view of learning (MBA program), but also from the point of view of working in Companies.    

9. How easy or difficult do you expect it to be to achieve these objectives?

I find it would be difficult to reach all my objectives, but I am sure that, making a big effort and getting a very good preparation will help me to achieve my objectives.
