2. What were your main reasons for deciding to attend business school?
- Formal mentoring in order to understand the concepts and advances in the field of management.
- To be equipped with the tools necessary to confront the dynamics of international business.
3. What research did you undertake in selecting your school?
- Career Fairs
- Online information - topmba.com, DAAD and other country specific websites
- Consultancy
4. What were the main criteria in your selection?
- Country
- Reputation of the Institute
- Quality of education
- Cost
- Duration
5. Why did you decide to study either in your own country or overseas?
Gain an International perspective
6. How well do your think the MBA is regarded in your home country?
Responsible, Highly valued and Rewarded
7. Did you apply for any scholarships? If so, which ones?
Yes, I did apply for a scholarship at HHL.
8. Were you successful in obtaining a scholarship?
Yes, a part of the tuition fee (25%) is waived off.
9. Have you already been, or do you intend to become an entrepreneur?
I do own a human resource consultancy firm in partnership in India but plan something bigger and better.
10. Are there any well-known and/or successful entrepreneurs that are alumni of your school?
I have heard of www.spreadshirt.com, which was an initiative of students at HHL.
11. How much do you expect to earn on graduation?
If in Europe, then I expect to earn, 5000-6000 per month and if I return to India then approx. INR1,000,000 per annum.
12. What do you expect to do on graduation and where do you expect to be based?
To start with, I shall lookout for a job in Europe and preferably in Germany or UK and then shall head back home.
13. Where do you see yourself in ten years time?
Owning a business shall be the ultimate goal and I hope I shall be able to realize it in the coming 10 years.
14. How easy or difficult do you expect it to be to achieve these objectives?
It is going to be challenging but definitely interesting.
