MBA at the Graziadio School of Business: Student Interview

1. Why did you choose the Graziadio School?
I chose the Graziadio School because of its small classroom, teaching style, good location, excellent reputation in the industry, and the full scholarship I was awarded.
2. What were you doing before your MBA?
After I graduated from Peking University with a major in Marketing, I worked as a Management Consultant with Accenture in Beijing for 3 years.
3. Did you apply for any scholarship/graduate assistantship? Were you successful?
Yes, I was awarded the full scholarship. The scholarship covered 100% tuition.
4. If you are an international student, what are the benefits of studying outside your home country?
As a business professional from China, I wanted to acquire most advanced knowledge and skills in America to run a successful business operation.
5. Is there anything that you consider to be a "beyond expectation" experience, while you were at the Graziadio School?
My experience at Graziadio was very positive. Especially, some of the faculty did not only bring in real-world experiences in the classroom, but also helped me in building a career network.
6. How has your Pepperdine MBA helped your career?
My MBA gave me the skills and experience I needed to advance my career. I now have the ability and knowledge to always think outside the box, which is essential in the world of consulting.
7. For alumni and recent graduates - your current company and title
I'm a Senior Consultant for Trianz Inc. in San Francisco, California.
