The Top Five in all 10 MBA Specializations: Infographic

Updated UpdatedAre you looking to hone your business skills in a particular MBA specialization? Many top business schools boast particular strength in certain areas, by dint of faculty expertize and interest, as well as through global networks and links to recruiters in their locality and beyond.
That’s why each year, QS produces rankings in 10 of the most popular MBA specializations on offer at leading schools and highly sought-after by international employers, the opinions of which form the rankings’ basis. These rankings derive from the data compiled for the annual QS Global 200 Business Schools Reports. The full report for 2013/14 can be downloaded here.
Below is a visual representation of the top five business schools in each of the 10 MBA specializations, to give you a feel for the most illustrious institutions for an MBA in your chosen area of study and future MBA career.
See which business schools feature in the most categories
Some elite international business schools offer top-ranking options across a number of MBA specializations, whereas others feature here just once or twice in areas of particular strength and prestige.
Harvard Business School appears in all 10 categories, topping the table in half of these. Meanwhile, INSEAD features in every top five but finance and Wharton misses out only in the areas of information management and innovation. IE Business School and Stanford appear in the top five of seven and six MBA specializations respectively.
Chicago Booth and Stern (NYU) both feature in the finance mini table, while Kellogg School of Management enjoys its sole top-five position at the very pinnacle of the marketing MBA specializations ranking.
