What were you doing before your MBA?
Treasurer of Dominet Bank SA, a Polish retail bank part-owned by Merrill Lynch Private Equity
What were your main reasons for deciding to attend business school?
I was increasingly feeling a lack of confidence in my purely technical abilities, I was missing mentors or significant competitors, I wanted to have the option of working outside of Poland.
What research did you undertake in selecting your school?
- Internet
- books

What were the main criteria in your selection?
- Academic excellence
- A nurturing, friendly environment
Were you successful in obtaining a scholarship?
Yes, the Thomas Sowa T-93 scholarship for people of Polish descent
Have you already been, or do you intend to become an entrepreneur?
I have been; I don't intend to in the near future
How much do you expect to earn on graduation?
$ 80,000 to 120,000
What do you expect to do on graduation and where do you expect to be based?
Work for a financial institution in Europe, probably focussing on Eastern Europe; possibly in private equity, possibly in corporate finance.
How easy or difficult do you expect it to be to achieve these objectives?
It is very likely, even within 2 years.
