These Are The 10 Companies Paying MBA Grads More than $200,000 a Year

Updated UpdatedResearch by the organization Management Consulted revealed that MBA graduates can now make a base salary of US$165,000 (£126,637) right out of business school, with a significant increase once signing bonuses, performance bonuses and tuition reimbursements are processed.
Business Insider analyzed the data and calculated the total salary value new MBA hires would receive at 13 of these firms. Unsurprisingly, the vast majority of organizations in the countdown are associated with the financial services industry or consultancy sector.
Here are the top 10 companies where the best MBA talent can earn over US$200,000 (£153,493) after graduation.
10. KPMG Strategy
Potential total compensation: US$235,000 (£180,506)
KPMG Strategy is a global network of professional service firms, part of the notorious Big Four, so is it really any wonder that it would kick off our top 10 list? The company offers three primary services – financial audit, tax and advisory – and works with clients to mitigate corporate risks and evaluate business opportunities.
9. MicKinsey & Company
Potential total compensation: US$239,000 (£183,621)
McKinsey & Company is a management consulting firm that provides services in strategy, overall organization, policy, research and management, profit and costs, and management information.
Its clients include 80 percent of the world’s largest corporations, ranging from private companies to government organizations and nonprofits.
8. Deloitte S&O
Potential total compensation: US$240,000 (£184,338)
Deloitte S&O is part of the Big four accounting firms, as well as the largest global professional services network in the world, helping clients solve their toughest corporate issues. Its services include tax, audit, consulting, financial advisory and enterprise risk.
7. BCG (Boston Consulting Group)
Potential total compensation: US$244,250 (£187,536)
As part of the wider BCG Matrix network, BCG is one of the world’s most prestigious consultancy firms, helping corporations decide how to maximize their investments the most effectively. Its clients include many of the world’s 500 largest companies, as well as nonprofits and mid-size businesses.
6. L.E.K. Consulting
Potential total compensation: US$245,000 (£188,122)
L.E.K. is a global management consulting firm that specializes in mergers and acquisitions, corporate strategy and operations. It offers services across many major industries, including defense, aviation, life sciences, healthcare, entertainment and energy.
5. AT Kearney
Potential total compensation: US$247,100 (£189,715)
AT Kearney is a global strategic management consulting firm that helps clients reach corporate solutions by combining strategic insight and collaborative working styles. Its clients include top government and nonprofit organizations, as well as 75 percent of the Fortune Global 500 companies.
4. Accenture Strategy
Potential total compensation: US$247,500 (£189, 965)
Accenture Strategy is a global consulting firm serving over 40 different industries. It helps clients hire the best people, promote sustainability, and create global relationships and impact. Its areas of expertise are technology, customer growth, supply chain operations, and talent and enterprise value.
3. AlixPartners
Potential total compensation: US$250,000 (£191,853)
And now we slide into the top three with AlixPartners. The global business advisory firm offers services in corporate performance, corporate turnarounds, litigation consulting and forensic accounting. The firm’s specialty is handling high-impact situations, which has attracted global giants such as General Motors and Enron.
2. Bain & Company
Potential total compensation: US$252,250 (£193,674)
Bain & Company is one of the Big Three management consultancy firms, working with public, private and nonprofit businesses. In particular, it assists top executives in making better decisions, converting those to actions, and delivering sustainable success.

Potential total compensation: US$256,400 (£196,792)
And this year’s winner, providing MBA graduates with the highest salary is PwC. The multinational strategy consulting firm that helps clients solve their most challenging strategic issues with innovative thinking. Its operations span across industries, such as healthcare, energy, financial services, chemicals, telecommunications, aerospace, media technology and fast-moving consumer goods.
