There are 4 application rounds. Interviews are by invitation only and all candidates are considered for merit aid in the form of graduate assistantships (a tuition waiver + a monthly stipend) and scholarships (ranging from $5,000 to $15,000 per academic year). The Admissions Committee looks for self-aware, bright, accomplished team players with a strong sense of purpose who can think on their feet. Our program is very collaborative, collegial, and team-focused.

Terry’s Business Learning Community (BLC) is located on the north campus of the University of Georgia, withing walking distance of downtown Athens, a culture-rich and diverse college town. UGA is the oldest public university for higher education in the United States, and as a land- and sea-grant institution, it offers students an unparalleled experience in one of the nation’s best college towns. The BLC opened in 2019 and is a six-building, almost 300,000 square foot home of the Terry College of Business. With 11 academic programs ranked among the nation’s best, the Terry College is the state’s flagship business school. Terry has more than 75,000 alumni worldwide and a growing national and international reputation for academic excellence. As the graduate programs home in the BLC, Correll Hall provides our graduate students with the space they need to learn and collaborate in state-of-the-art classrooms, project team rooms, private study spaces, a graduate commons, and a business innovation lab.
Student life
As a smaller program, our students receive a very personalized experience, both in the classroom and in the career search. Class size is between 60-75 students per year with a high degree of faculty/student interaction and elective courses typically have 10-25 students. With a student/staff ratio of 10:1, MBA program staff are dedicated to the success of our students.
The profile of the Class of 2024 shows just how diverse a program we have for a program of our size. With an average GMAT of 672, the class is comprised of 35% female, 17% U.S. minority, 22% international, and 9% military. With an average work experience of 51 months, our students represent a wide variety of academic, professional and socio-economic backgrounds.

The average starting salary and bonus was $142,043, a more than 200% increase over their pre-MBA salaries.

The Full-Time MBA has 4 application rounds. The first deadline is October 10, 2022 and our final deadline is June 1, 2022. Please review our website for more information about deadlines and requirements.
We strive to make the application process as smooth and transparent as possible. We consider every applicant for merit aid. Interviews are by invitation only, and each application is reviewed holistically. The Admissions Committee looks for self-aware, bright, accomplished team players with a strong sense of purpose who can think on their feet. Our program is very collaborative, collegial, and team-focused.
The online application includes the application form itself, two required essays, one optional essay, two professional references, unofficial transcripts, and self-reported test scores. More information about our requirements can be found here.
All applicants are considered for merit-based aid. Merit-based aid awards include both graduate assistantships and scholarships and are renewable for the second year of the program. Graduate assistantships include a full tuition waiver and a monthly stipend of around $1,000 USD in exchange for a 13 hour per week work requirement supporting a Terry faculty member or program office.
