About Renmin (People's) University of China

Founded in 1950, the Business School Renmin University of China (RMBS) has the longest history of Chinese management education. In recent years, internationalization has become a cornerstone for the School. It is one of the first mainland business schools accredited by both EQUIS and AACSB (2010 and 2013). In 2014 and 2016, the School’s MBA, EE, and EMBA programs all ranked in the top 50 by Financial Times. RMBS is also a co-founder of the Global Network for Advanced Management (GNAM) initiated by Yale SOM in 2012.

The International MBA program boasts award-winning faculty with expertise in Chinese and international business practices. We aim to develop global leaders who make optimized business decisions based upon technical foundations, a socially responsible perspective and management practice. Students are invited to participate in specialized programs to enhance their connection to industry and develop as future management leaders.

FAQs

For international students, all three programs require: a Bachelor’s degree; preferably full-time work experience of two years or longer; an acceptable GMAT score - taken no earlier than September 1st 2006; english proficiency;
There are around seven to ten courses a semester. Classes are usually on Mondays to Fridays from 8:00 am to 11:00 am and from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
