The Kent State University Executive MBA program stands at the forefront of preparing busy professionals to succeed within a global environment which is increasingly navigated through virtual means. Since 2015, its once monthly in person format has also included live/synchronous class sessions with professors on one Saturday per month. Team projects are also accomplished using collaborative technology. The program can be reached by phone or email and the application deadline is August 1. We are in the process of recruiting a new cohort as usual to begin classes in mid-August. Two Executive MBA webinars are held each month in spring and summer. One of these twice monthly webinars covers program information. The second webinar provides the opportunity to interact with an EMBA professor who will speak on a topic in an area of expertise over a lunch and learn format. We have converted the Beginning Residency to virtual format, incorporating simulations which provide video feedback to students through a mentor. This experience will prepare students for more effective conversations with their supervisors, peers and subordinates in both in-person and virtual environments.
