Google, Apple, Deloitte Among Top MBA Employers in the US
By Louise O'Conor
Updated UpdatedGoogle has been named the most attractive MBA employer in the US by MBA students, according to new research released this week.
Also featuring in the top 10 MBA employers in the US are McKinsey & Company, Apple, Amazon, The Boston Consulting Group, Bain & Company, Nike, Walt Disney Company, Deloitte, and Goldman Sachs.
Ranking MBA employers
The annual American MBA Survey, produced by Universum, was compiled from the input of over 3,700 MBA students at 135 different business schools, and involved evaluating nearly 14,500 MBA employers.
Well-known multinational companies are of course the norm within Unversum's MBA employer ranking, however some surprises can be seen when looking into the placing of companies.
For instance, though the 'Big Four' professional services firms are all featured, only Deloitte makes the top 10. The remaining three appear lower down; PricewaterhouseCoopers at 27th place, Ernst & Young in 33rd, and KPMG much lower at 82nd.
Technology firms appear to be very popular among the 100 MBA employers featured. Aside from Google, Apple and Amazon in the top 10, Facebook, Microsoft, eBay, Intel, Salesforce.com, Siemens and Dell all feature.
