Alan Hughes chose to do his MBA from the London Business School and talks to us of his experience of the program there.

After working for five years at a US investment bank through a very interesting period of economic history, I realised that I needed a top qualification for a top business school to help progress my career. Deciding on a business school was not difficult, I applied only to London Business School and for the following reasons: its incredible international and all-inclusive community spirit, high-quality alumni, well recognised brand and finally its cutting edge Finance and Strategy faculties.

London Business School has all these great qualities and on top of this is located at the centre of one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world, London. In the current economic environment access to companies is critical to the students for both career opportunities and project work.

My MBA 2004 class composition is truly representative of the London Business School spirit. We are a total of 61 nationalities and all part of the School community - both the current student community and the alumni community. It is now New Year 2003 and my first four months at London Business School have been fantastic and I am really looking forward to the rest of the programme.
