Regarded as being the home of the best MBA programs in the world, there are few signs of business schools in the US and Canada losing any credence domestically or internationally. The Wharton School, founded in 1881, was the world’s first business school; indeed, the US was home to the world's only business schools until the middle of the 20th century.

The US was also home to the world’s first MBA program, at Harvard Business School, a program which remains at the pinnacle of the rankings to this day.
